Thin contour lines represent 20’ of elevation change, thicker lines 100’. Portions of the AT have been relocated after this map was made. Much of the white field area has grown over with trees. Some areas to the right of the cliff and below the cliff were logged in 2006. Most of the logging was “selective cutting” and has not adversely affected the property.
A dirt road enters from Route 25 and goes to the former “log landing” about where the B is. Crossing the Oliverian Brook can be a challenge as the bridge was removed when the logging was completed. Logging roads, and the remains of old Route 25, converge at the former log landing on the south east edge of the meadow. Two other small informal parking areas are available along Route 25. Coming from Glenn Cliff village the first is located at the west end of a long steel guard rail. The other is located several hundred feet past the closed entry road, on a small rise, just before a trailer home. This location offers a beautiful view of the cliff. Trails lead from both locations to the meadow and cliff.
If the stream is not crossable an alternative route might be to park at the Oliverian Pond dam, walk across the dam, and then bush-wack around the back side of the pond.
