Hi Tim and Sandra,
Thank you for taking the time to let the Access Fund know of your support for the Owl's Head Cliff acquisition. Attached please find a copy of a letter on behalf of the Access Fund to the White Mountain National Forest offering our support of the project and our assistance.

We have received the grant application from Joshua Kelly at the Trust for Public Lands and will be reviewing it in the next few weeks. I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that our grant program is as strong as our membership base. So, if you are an Access Fund member, thank you for your support. As this project exemplifies, supporting the Access Fund is supporting climbing opportunities across the United States, which are sometimes in our backyard and sometimes a couple of time zones away. If you are not a member or if your membership has lapsed, I encourage you to consider joining or renewing your membership. To contribute to our mission and this project: http://accessfund.org/join/indiv.php.

Thank you again for letting us know your passion and interest for the preservation of Owl's Head and the Oliverian Notch areas. We take to heart your comments and I will make sure to forward them to the grant committee for consideration when they are reviewing TPL's grant application.

Cheers, Deanne

Since 1990, the Access Fund has been the only national advocacy organization that keeps climbing areas open and conserves the climbing environment. The Access Fund supports and represents over 1.6 million climbers nationwide in ALL forms of climbing; Rock Climbing, Ice Climbing, Mountaineering, and Bouldering. Five core programs support the mission on national and local levels: public policy, stewardship & conservation (including grants), grassroots activism, climber education, and land acquisition.  It's your membership dollars that sustain the Access Fund.

Thank you letter and request for support from Deanne at the Access Fund.
